Abstract

The study concludes that reason is a great tool bestowed by God upon mankind; however, it is not an end in itself, but rather a means that requires the guidance of the Prophets. Revelation and reason together form a complementary source of knowledge that ensures man’s well-being in this world and his salvation in the Hereafter. Without both, human beings are left to wander in the confusion of limited human thought.”
