Abstract

This research study addressed the topic of “The Ruling and Objectives of Digital Waqf.” It provided a detailed explanation of the juristic characterization (fiqh adaptation) of digital waqf and its foundational basis, while clarifying the objectives of Islamic law (Maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah) related to it.


The significance of this research lies in demonstrating the flexibility of Islamic legislation in addressing technological and informational developments, as well as its suitability for all times and places, while at the same time preserving the objectives of Islamic law.


The study concluded that digital waqf falls under the category of endowing rights and benefits that possess recognized legal value and legitimate objectives. It also emphasized the necessity of investing in digital development to achieve the objectives of Islamic law.


The study adopted the inductive method in tracing the implications of juristic characterization of the issue, as well as the comparative analytical method in presenting, examining, and discussing the various scholarly opinions and evidences
