The Stylistic Phenomenon in the Novels of Abbad    Yahya: The Novel of Ramallah as a Model

Abstract

The study, titled “A Stylistic Study in the Novel “Ramallah” by Ebad Yahya,” attempts to reveal the stylistic data that the novel or the writer seeks to highlight in the format of the narrative text, by demonstrating the stylistic effect manifested at multiple levels indicated by stylistic studies in its theoretical field. Over a wide range of stylistic history, those levels represent the basic material in building the structure of the stylistic lesson in every stylistic study that relies on a literary text and through the novel “Ramallah” by the Palestinian writer “Abbad Yahya.”We try to highlight these stylistic levels and project them onto the textual narration of them, and among those levels that were touched upon is the intellectual level in the novel, which came as a summary of what the writer adopted from the intertwining of the events of his fictional text, which is based on mixing truth with fiction. Through this level we address the process of documenting fictional events in their various forms. To form the intellectual aspect of the narrator, as well as one of the levels that were discussed in the light of stylistics, is the linguistic level, which in turn is divided into the well-known levels within its divisions, which are the phonetic, morphological, syntactic, and semantic levels. Such stylistic levels were delved into to show the impact of linguistic stylistics in its various manifestations in the aspect. Narration of the novel. The study dealt with a deeper aspect than the stylistic aspects mentioned above.It is the literary level in the novel, the level that takes upon itself the interest in the aesthetics of the fictional text and the writer’s extreme care in highlighting those aesthetics, through care in choosing the words that distinguish the writer’s style from other writers, and the eloquence of the fictional text falls within the rhetorical determinants within that. Style. The aforementioned levels are what determined the stylistic boundaries in the novel “Ramallah” by Abbad Yahya. Through those levels, we were able to access the stylistic features of the text according to Abbad Yahya in this novel.
