Quranic Ethical Frameworks in the Age of Globalization and Their Impact on Addressing Social and Economic Inequalities

Abstract
This study aims to explore the underlying ethical frameworks found in the Quran and analyzes their relevance and utility to respond social and economic inequalities in this era of globalization. It examines core values of the Quran such as justice, compassion, equity and prohibitions against exploitation, among others demonstrating how effectively its ethical principles serve to guide responses to growing global inter-connections and gaps. The book assesses the implications of these frameworks for both wealth distribution and poverty alleviation and also delineates the importance of the development activities associated with these models in aiding broader inclusion, opportunity, and equity in societies. In the long run, this work was guided by the conclusion of how a Quranically grounded ethic can in fact provide novel tools for addressing inequality and advance ethical global citizenship.
