Grammatical Analogy and its impact on the emergence of disagreement among grammarians an analytical and critical study
Main Article Content
Abstract
Analogy is of great importance to grammar, as this science would not exist without it, since it is difficult to encompass hearing everything that the Arabs have spoken. What is analogized to speech of Arabs is from the speech of the Arabs. Analogy is considered one of the most important evidences in Arabic grammar, as it contributes to understanding and explaining linguistic phenomena and developing their rules. I have tried to summarize the tasks of researching analogy, explaining the effect of analogy in the emergence of grammatical disagreement, as analogy depends on hearing, so whatever is heard frequently and is frequently cited is permissible to use analogy. We also discussed the concept of poetic necessity according to Sibawayh and Ibn Malik, and the disagreement over the permissibility of analogy based on it. We shed light on the position of the Basrans, who tend to interpret the little that is mentioned in the language or claim the existence of a more eloquent narration, while the Kufians permit analogy based on the little. The research addresses the issue of attributing error to the Arabs, explaining that what appears from Sibawayh’s words is an illusion of error, not attributing it to them in reality, with a disagreement over the permissibility of analogy based on this type. There is no doubt that analogy is the most comprehensive element of speech and the closest to controlling the rules, which made the disagreement in any issue in it generate disagreement in many details of the issues resulting from it, and this is the reason that prompted this study that is in our hands, and the goal of this research is to know a main reason for the grammatical disagreement and to clarify one of the aspects
From which the disagreement enters.
