Although Arabic idioms emerged in a unique cultural and historical context, modern technological advances have necessitated flexibility in modes of expression and communication, especially on platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and InstagramThe study examines how Arab users use traditional metaphorical strategies such as metaphorical metaphors and binary conventions in their daily interactions on social media. It also highlights the role of concision an essential feature of classical language in achieving fast and effective communication in digital environments where attention spans are limited. Furthermore, the study explores how these rhetorical shifts affect the formation of cultural and social identities and how digital communication is reshaping Arab society, focusing on the persuasive and controversial power of online discourse. The study concludes that Arabic idioms maintain their flexibility and change, adapt to new media, and provide an effective means of communication and messages in the digital age
