Peer Review Process Peer Review Process

SHIFAA employs a double-blind peer review process, wherein both the reviewers' and authors' identities remain completely anonymous throughout the evaluation process. To ensure originality and academic quality, all submissions must present novel findings and must not have been previously published or under consideration elsewhere.

Editorial Board Evaluation Editorial Board Evaluation

Prior to peer review, the Editorial Board evaluates each submission to confirm its alignment with the mission and scope of SHIFAA. Only manuscripts that meet the journal’s quality and relevance criteria are sent for external review. Each qualified paper is reviewed by at least two independent experts, and the double-blind process ensures that neither authors nor reviewers are aware of each other’s identities.

Review Outcome Review Outcome

If a paper receives divergent or negative reviews, the Editorial Board may assign it to an additional reviewer for a final decision. Should two independent reviewers provide negative evaluations, the manuscript will not be accepted for publication in SHIFAA. Authors receive detailed reviewer comments and are required to revise their manuscripts within the specified time frame before the final editorial decision is issued.

Withdrawal of Paper Withdrawal of Paper

If authors wish to withdraw their submission from consideration, they must submit a formal withdrawal request to the Editorial Board. Authors are responsible for adhering to SHIFAA’s writing and formatting guidelines to maintain the journal’s publication standards. Please note that SHIFAA does not provide any copyright or publication fees to authors for accepted papers.
