Plagiarism Policy
Authors are advised to observe high standards in publication ethics. ESTIDAMAA strictly prohibits practices such as plagiarism, fabrication, and falsification of data, as well as duplicate publication without proper citation.
In line with our commitment to upholding publication ethics, ESTIDAMAA has implemented a comprehensive policy to address the issue of AI-generated plagiarism. Starting from May 1st, 2023, with the launch of Turnitin's AI detection capability, all manuscripts submitted for publication will undergo a rigorous plagiarism check using Turnitin. This check will occur after submission and before the manuscripts are sent to the editor for review.
Should any overlapping or similar texts be detected, ESTIDAMAA will promptly initiate an investigation. Manuscripts found with significant AI plagiarism or unethical content manipulation will be deemed unacceptable and may be rejected.
By enforcing this policy, ESTIDAMAA aims to maintain the originality and integrity of all published research. We encourage authors to uphold the principles of academic honesty and contribute to the advancement of sustainable development knowledge in an ethical and responsible manner.
