Daily Backup Policy
The SHIFAA Journal maintains a daily backup policy in collaboration with Hostinger. Automatic backups of all journal data, including articles, user information, and metadata, are performed every 24 hours and stored securely for 30 days. This guarantees immediate restoration capability and prevents data loss in the event of any unforeseen incident.
Offline Backup for Extra Security
To provide an extra layer of security, the SHIFAA Journal editorial team periodically downloads full system backups and stores them securely in encrypted Google Drive archives. This hybrid online–offline strategy ensures that all research outputs are protected and recoverable at all times.
