Dr. Akhmed Kaleel
Dr. Kaleel is the owner and publisher. He is responsible for the company’s direction, publishing policy, operations and finances. He is also Editor-in-Chief of MEDAAD. A manuscript in which he has a conflict, including a manuscript of his own, is handled by an independent editor. He does not take part in that decision.

The Dubai office carries out the publisher’s work that is not a journal’s editorial decision:
- Misconduct cases, appeals and complaints, in support of the Editor-in-Chief.
- Editorial workflow across the journals, and support for editors.
- Copyediting, typesetting, proofs and DOI registration.
- The journal platform, indexing metadata and archiving.
- Invoicing of the article processing charge and decisions on waiver requests. Those decisions are not shared with editors.

Individual names are not published here for a separate ethics officer, managing editor, production manager or website manager, because those duties sit with this office. Named editors are listed on each journal’s Editorial Team page.
