From 30 October 2026, every journal of Peninsula Publishing Press charges an article processing charge (APC) of USD 250 for each accepted article.
What is charged
- USD 250, once, after acceptance. This is the only fee.
- No submission fee, and no fee for review, pages, colour or figures.
- Rejected manuscripts are not charged.
- Articles accepted before 30 October 2026 are not charged this APC.
The same amount is stated on each journal’s Author Fees page:
The APC may be paid by the authors, their institution or their funder. It covers peer-review management, copyediting, typesetting, DOI registration with Crossref, online hosting, indexing metadata and long-term archiving with Portico. It does not buy a decision. The article is published under CC BY 4.0 whether the APC is paid by the authors or covered by a waiver.
Waivers
Authors who cannot pay may request a full or partial waiver when they submit. Authors in countries on the Research4Life Group A and Group B lists may request a waiver on that basis. Requests go to support@peninsula-press.ae and are decided by publishing staff, not by editors. The editors are not told whether a waiver was requested or granted, or whether the APC has been paid. Inability to pay, and the grant of a waiver, play no part in the editorial decision.
This charging and waiver policy is the disclosure asked for by the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing (COPE, DOAJ, OASPA and WAME) and by the Scopus content policy, both of which expect a journal that charges authors to state the amount, the point at which it is charged, and whether waivers exist.
