Conflict of Interest
Dear Authors, Reviewers, and Editorial Members,
To maintain the highest ethical standards in scholarly publishing, KHWARIZMIA requires full disclosure of any actual or potential Conflict of Interest (COI). A COI may occur when financial, personal, or professional relationships could inappropriately influence (or be perceived to influence) one’s responsibilities in the publication process.
All authors must declare any financial, institutional, or personal relationships that might bias their research findings, analysis, or interpretation. Similarly, reviewers are required to disclose any conflicts that may affect their impartial evaluation of a manuscript.
The disclosure must be made at the time of manuscript submission (for authors) or before accepting an invitation to review (for reviewers). This ensures transparency and integrity throughout the publication process.
Members of the Editorial Board must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could affect their editorial decisions or objectivity. Examples include personal or professional relationships with authors, financial interests in research outcomes, or affiliations that could influence decision-making.
If an editorial member identifies a potential COI, they must declare it immediately and recuse themselves from handling the affected submission. The COI form should be completed and submitted to the Editor-in-Chief for recordkeeping.
Completed forms should be sent directly to the Editor-in-Chief at h.kazem@soharuni.edu.om.
